Thank you for following and looking at my site, coded with HTML. Site launched in May 2025 as a very special celebration of reaching 1000 followers of darkness on Instagram. Every photo uploaded on this site, background or not, was taken by me.
Introduction
I am Darkwards (dark-woods), I'm a figure of darkness who goes to the woods and nature in the dead of night. I go during fog, snow, auroras, night sky events etc and take photos. The new moon and full moon are monthly rituals. Inbox (Instagram) is always open for dark questions, just saying hi or anything else.
The mission
I am more than just a gallery of photos, I aim to capture the atmosphere of actually being there immersed in nature at night. The personal mission is to explore more dark places. The dark nature is detachment from an overly bright, noisy world and a way to sense powers.
